Our Story

"Rajoet" means weaving.

Here in Rajoet, we partner with artisans to bring to you  sustainably made handbags and lifestyle products made from recycled plastic waste

All our products are 100% handwoven from recycled plastic waste.

Yes—what you're carrying is akin to plastic waste that would otherwise harm the animals in the oceans or clog up the landfills.

These plastic waste is crushed, melted into pellets and cleaned thoroughly (squeaky clean!) They are then processed into rolls that would later be cut into strips and woven into handbags, planters, and even wine bottles. The possibility is endless!

We see the goodness in slow fashion, so we make sure our products are designed to be timeless and durable.

Who made our bags?

We partner with local artisans in Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

Every piece in Rajoet is a product of the incredible craftmanship of our artisan partners. The finished result is not only beautiful, but also tightly woven and made to last. These bags are individually handwoven, and made in small batches to prevent waste.

Our Design Philosophy

Thoughtful and intentional: We choose to design bags that withstand the ever-changing fashion trends, so what you see are classic and timeless designs.

More importantly, our bags are made to be functional and durable. While lightweight, our bags are sturdy and can withstand a considerable amount of weight, so you can carry your essentials comfortably.
